Following the bringing forward of the General Election to 29 November, the city councils of Elche and Alicante have decided, by mutual agreement, not to hold the marathon on the scheduled date (29 NOVEMBER). Due to this force majeure, which is entirely beyond the organisers’ control, the 2nd Elche-Alicante 42K International Marathon will take place on Sunday 13 December 2026.
If you are ultimately unable to join us in December, you have two options:
Retain your registration for the 2027 edition.
Request a 50 per cent refund of the registration fee.
To request a 50 per cent refund of your registration fee or to have your entry transferred to the 2027 edition, the deadline is 1 November 2026. Please reply to this email: inforunners@camontemar.com, including your booking reference number.
After this date, no refunds will be issued, nor will entries be transferred to the 2027 edition.
We look forward to seeing you on 13 December to run the 42 kilometres between Elche and Alicante together.
