Spain-Switzerland match to qualify for Eurovolley 2026

The excitement of European volleyball returns to Alicante. On 13 August at 7.30 p.m., the Spanish men’s national team, known as the RedLynxes, will face Switzerland at the Pedro Ferrándiz Pavilion in a key match in the qualifying phase for EuroVolley 2026.

The qualifying phase for next year’s European Championship is entering its final stretch, and the men’s volleyball team needs to step up its game to secure a direct ticket to the tournament. After losing in the first round to Switzerland and Sweden, the RedLynxes face the second round with their first match on 9 August in Habo (Sweden) and their last match four days later in Alicante against the Swiss team.

The match is organised by the Spanish Volleyball Federation and tickets can be purchased on its website (rfevb.com) at a price of £10.
