San Silvestre Solidarity Run 2025

One of the most eagerly awaited sporting and festive events of Christmas returns to Alicante: the San Silvestre Solidarity Run. The race, in which people of all ages and physical conditions dressed in fun and creative costumes take part, will take place on Friday 26 December at 7.30 pm, starting from the Rambla de Méndez Núñez, near the Casa de la Festa.

The San Silvestre will run through the streets of the city centre on a 3-kilometre route, ending at Rambla de Méndez Núñez, near the Portal de Elche.

Registration will be available at this link https://www.chiplevante.com/es/prueba/san-silvestre-alicante-1110-2025 until 24 December at midnight, or until the quota of 2,500 participants is reached. Price: €5. The proceeds will go to charity.

Race numbers can be collected from the Ciclos Boyer shop (Avenida Pintor Xavier, 10, Alicante) during business hours (10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.), except on the day of the race, when they will only be available in the morning. Minors must provide authorisation from their parents or legal guardians when collecting their race number. Pets (properly identified with a microchip) and people on roller skates are allowed to participate, provided they comply with the race rules.

The prizes will consist of trophies for the top three male and female finishers in the running race. In addition, prizes will be awarded for the three best individual costumes and the three best group costumes (with a minimum of five people).
The awards ceremony will take place between 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Rambla de Méndez Núñez.
