Alicante celebrates European Mobility Week with a programme packed with activities to promote the use of sustainable means of transport. Workshops, bike rides, cycle paths, guided walking tours and family activities take to the streets of the city to promote healthy, efficient and environmentally friendly mobility.

Programme of featured activities:

Guided walking tours
Tuesday 16th – Unique parks in the city centre (departure point: Paseíto Ramiro)
Wednesday 17th – Greenway, Almadraba and Albufereta beaches (departure point: Estación de la Marina train station)
Thursday 18th – Historic centre and Santa Cruz (departure: Town Hall square)
From 6pm to 8pm – Groups of up to 25 people

Bicycle adjustment workshops + Information on electric scooters
From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Bicycle School Day (Schoolchildren)
Friday 19th – School cycling route through the city, ending at Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Participating schools: IES Las Lomas, Mare Nostrum and Playa San Juan.
Family cycling tour ‘To Urbanova by bike’

Departure: Paseo de la Policía Nacional (next to Av. de Elche)
6 km by bike or personal mobility vehicle with the Local Police Cycling Brigade
