6th Mediterranean Grand Race Alicante – Santa Pola

On Sunday, 9 November 2025, the 6th Mediterranean 21K Grand Race will be held, a half marathon full of spectacular views that connects Alicante with Santa Pola on an unforgettable coastal route.

The race starts at Avenida de la Estación in front of the Alicante Provincial Council building, and the final stretch will take you to the finish line in front of the sea, at Varadero Beach in Santa Pola.

Athletes will run along sandy beaches and promenades such as Urbanova, Arenales del Sol and the Santa Pola Lighthouse, all with blue flags and a guaranteed sea breeze!

This event is included in the National Calendar of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation. It is organised by the Provincial Council of Alicante and the Montemar Athletic Club, with the collaboration of the Alicante City Council, among other institutions and entities.
