On 21 December, Postigue Beach will be filled with athletes and Christmas spirit for one of the most eagerly awaited events on the calendar: the Alicante 2025 Christmas Swim, organised by the Alicante Sports Council together with the Aquatic Alicante Swimming Club.
This event combines sport, solidarity and tradition. There will be two distances —1,500 and 3,000 metres— so that each swimmer can choose their challenge in the sea. In addition, participants can take part in the 4×200 m Solidarity Relay, in the men’s, women’s or mixed categories, with the proceeds going to ASPANION, the association of parents of children with cancer in the Valencian Community.
The event will form part of the Liga de Travesías – Copa Alicante 25/26, officially kicking off a new season of aquatic competitions.
