VII Great Mediterranean Race 21K – Half Marathon
The Great Mediterranean Race 21K is a coastal half marathon of 21. 0975 km approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, which will take place on 8 November between Alicante and Santa Pola with the Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop.
Participants will set off from the centre of Alicante, next to the Provincial Council Building, and will follow a route parallel to the Mediterranean coastline, passing through iconic landscapes such as El Palmeral Park, the beaches of Urbanova, Arenales del Sol and Carabassí, until they finish at Varadero Beach in Santa Pola. It is one of the most spectacular races in Spain, thanks to the beauty of its route along the sea and the numerous blue flag beaches that accompany the runners along the way.
