Alicante will host the final phase of the 2026 Handball King’s Cup from 5 to 7 June.

The city will host the final phase of the Copa del Rey Handball Tournament from 5 to 7 June next year, confirming its rich tradition in this sport. The tournament will be hosted by Horneo EÓN Alicante, with FC Barcelona as the reigning champion and six other places to be contested by 24 teams.

Dates: 5 to 7 June next year.
Directly Qualified Teams: Horneo EÓN Alicante (Host) and Barcelona (Reigning Champion).
Remaining Participants: 24 teams, including Fundación Agustinos, will compete for the remaining six places.
